This book was interesting on several fronts. The history of the actions by sections of the Christian faith either followers or the church hierarchy itself were more than eye-opening.  Throw in their beliefs and practices and my thought was current believers should know about these items and then told what church that belonged too.

The centuries this took place in meant that most of this was known to those who wrote, voted on and signed the U.S. Declaration of Independence and the U.S Constitution.  So my thoughts that the founding fathers seperated church and state simply based off the English government experience missed the mark by a lot.  Current U.S. voters and politicians should read this book to learn the many, sometimes fatal, mistakes allowing church and state to mix.
